Title: The Haunting of Willow House

On Halloween night, young Alex and his sister Lily decided to trick-or-treat in their small, spooky town. After a long night of knocking on doors, they found themselves outside an old, abandoned house called Willow House.
As they approached, a chilling breeze brushed past them, sending a shiver down their spines. "Let's skip this one," Alex said, pulling Lily close.
But Lily was determined. "Why not? This place gives me the creeps."
The sisters entered Willow House cautiously, flashlight beams casting eerie shadows on the walls. The air grew colder, and the smell of rotting leaves became more overpowering. Upstairs, they found an old, dusty bedroom door ajar. Intrigued, they peeked inside and gasped.
On the bed lay an old, withered doll. One of its eyes popped open, revealing a soulless, haunting stare. Lily felt her heart race. "That's enough!" she whispered. "Let's get out of here."
But as they tried to leave, they discovered that the door was locked. A chilling silence settled over them. Then, a whisper filled the room: "Why do you think I'm here, young ones?"
Suddenly, the walls shook as if a giant hand was pounding on them. Alex and Lily screamed and tried to open the door again. This time, a ghostly hand appeared, blocking their path.
"Leave now," the hand hissed. "I'm not done with you yet."
Frantically, the sisters looked around for another exit. As they searched, a portrait on the wall swung to the side, revealing a secret staircase leading to the attic.
They sprinted up the stairs, not daring to look back. When they reached the top, they found a large, iron box in the corner. Alex's hand trembled as he reached out to touch it.
But before he could lift the box, the walls rumbled once more, and a dark, sinister voice echoed throughout the house. "I'll never let you go!"
A shadowy figure emerged from the attic, reaching for Alex. Desperately, the sisters grabbed the box, knocking it onto the floor, and the room went black.
When they awoke, they found themselves in their own living room, surrounded by family members. The room was still dark, and a storm raged outside.
Their grandmother rushed to comfort them. "I had a bad feeling when you left. What happened to you two?"
Alex and Lily exchanged glances. With a heavy sigh, Lily said, "We encountered the ghost of Willow House. But we managed to defeat it by breaking the iron box."
Grandma looked at them, amazed. "I believe you, Lily. It seems you two have some ghostbusting skills!"
From then on, the Willow House stood empty, never to haunt anyone again. And Alex and Lily realized that not all ghosts need to be scared away. Some needed a final farewell.
